LAST CHANCE TO BUY! THIS DESIGN OF NECKLACE IS BEING DISCONTINUED SO THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO GET ONE!
Made from recycled bass guitar strings, these make perfect gifts for musicians or music fans. These strings have been used by Mary McIntyre, many of them used during gigs in the local area. Because they are recycled, many of the strings have fret marks on them, which adds to the character of each piece. It’s great to be able to upcycle something into a unique piece of jewellery rather than adding the strings to landfill. These necklaces are great gift for music fans and musicians, and are a great alternative to the guitar string bangles if you are unsure of the wrist size.
The strings were sterilized first, then the necklace was made from a silver coloured bass guitar string. It is finished with orange and black beads and a black plectrum which was made from material that is a by-product of the petrochemical industry. The ends of the string are glued into silver end caps and it has a lobster claw fastening.
The necklace is approximately 52cm long.
Guitar strings often contain nickel so these items are not suitable for people with a nickel allergy. Comes in an organza gift bag.
